Criss-Cross

Summer has officially hit in NYC.  Which means I can officially pack away all my cold weather layers and warm jackets.  I love a fun tank that with an unexpected twist.  The open back feels a slightly cheeky. Though I definitely do have to keep an eye out for sudden wayward breezes!

Co-ordinated

It went from "When is spring going to arrive??" to "Hello, summer." in a matter of a day or two last week. Every once in a while I get major DIY sewing inspiration and have to take advantage right away before I loose the ideas.
While this fabric certainly wasn't lacking in color, it lent itself well to a pop of neon.
Since it was so hot, I didn't want to carry around a big shoulder or handbag.  This oversized wallet was the perfect solution and held all the essentials (wallet, money, keys) for an afternoon out.
I'm definitely not adverse to mixing patterns, but putting the same pattern on top and bottom felt fun and new.  I felt sort of like a Von Trapp kid.
Here's to keep in cool (and coordinated) over the next couple months.
