Breezy

Using the remnants of an old dress that didn't fit quite right, I made a super easy and comfortable skirt. The flower pattern worked quite nicely with a casual grey tee for the weekend.  It was super hot again, so I kept accessories to a minimum.

In retrospect, I might advise to think twice about wearing a short, flippy skirt on a breezy day!

POP!

I love an unexpected pop of color or pattern, whether on the side of a building, bright lipstick, stitching on a scarf, lining of a jacket, or on a pair of socks sticking out of a pair of boots.  Adds a bit of something to an otherwise mono-chromatic ensemble...or overcast afternoon.
