Technicolor

I've come across such great scenery since starting this blog—it makes me appreciate Brooklyn and the neighborhood even more.
When we stumbled upon this cheery wall in Gowanus,  I decided to take advantage and show off some bright colors of my own.
New York City finally got its first taste of winter this past week. Maybe if I wear enough bright colors, those icy gusts will turn into tropical breezes!
Well, a girl can dream. But a bit of color in the cold can definitely take off some of the chill.
I'm sure whoever painted this wall would agree—color is totally uplifting in any context.  And if the wall wasn't enough to give me a boost, these shoes could certainly do the trick.
I loved how the screaming blue brought out the neon pink in my thermal, making it even brighter than it looked on its own.
Time to find another bright spot!
