So the Gowanus Canal is not the Seine...OK, it's not even the East River, but it is right around the corner from our apartment in Brooklyn. And on a bright, sunny day it can be almost pretty. Almost...
Whenever I wear these jeans, I feel like I'm channeling my inner 1970s-self. High-waisted, stone-washed, bell-bottomed.I kept things weekend casual, pairing the jeans with my favorite striped shirt.
And of course, my favorite red cap.
...and red leather gloves
I've had this jacket for years now, it's a simple, wool swing coat, but the inside is a plaid pattern and I love the toggle buttons.
All in all, I felt like I was channeling my inner French girl, simple palette and classic shapes.
