With the days getting shorter, colder and in general grey-er, I took advantage of a beautiful late afternoon patch of sunshine in Redhook.
I layered a cozy sweater and blazer over a party dress to make it a bit more afternoon appropriate. The industrial factory building provided a perfect contrasting backdrop for a rather lady-like look.
I added a bright necklace for some color and a hand-knit hat for warmth - don't let the light fool you, it was pretty but freezing!
Sticking with the theme, I carried black and grey right through to my shoes - and the garage door and gate!
The skirt caught the light perfectly and really brought out the pattern.

Love the way you layered this outfit, that you added the chunky hat and love the brown tights and shoes! Lovely blog you have :) Would you like to follow each other?

Love this too! Just read your profile and saw that you work for Ralph Lauren. I know Greg Lauren and recently wore one of his jackets on my blog.
